For a long time, Mallorca was on our ‘where-to-go’ list. So we decided to go there. It wasn’t really easy to find a calm spot but still not to far from the center ‘La Palma De Mallorca’. Eventually, we stayed in a beautiful hotel in Portals Nous. From the first moment, we fell in love with this place. We found our hotel on http://www.booking.com and stayed in Tomir Portals Suites.
Portals Nous has a very beautiful port, it is small but is worth to go there. We just love wandering in between the boats and talking about anything we think of. In the harbor, there are some very nice restaurants. These aren’t the cheapest, but are worth it.

Lila Portals
The best discovery was without any doubt ‘Lila Portals’. This restaurant really has it all. Very good food, friendly people and an amazing view.
We would say, just discover it yourself!
Ritzi
Another great restaurant was ‘Ritzi’. The place is a little bit more crowded than ‘Lila Portals’ but still very nice location and the food is also great.
Discovering the Island
Besides eating and drinking, we also love to discover the place where we stay. Unfortunately, we only stayed in Mallorca for a few days. So we didn’t had a lot of time and we had to make some decisions on where to go.
The first place we went to was ‘Soller‘. You have the possibility to go there by car or by train. The train is a very vintage touristic one, which was very nice to travel by. Obviously, we chose the last option. The view you get during this ride are also very good. You can almost touch the orange and citrus trees.
The train stops in the old time of Soller, this place is very romantic.
We didn’t stay there for a long time. It was very warm, so we wanted to go to the ocean where we could swim. Soller itself has a very nice beach with lots of great restaurants.
To save some time, we rented a car. The next place we went to was Calo Des Moro. A magical place! It has the clearest blue water you’ll ever see. This place really should be on your travel list. At Calo Des Moro, there is really nothing. So if you would want to stay there a while, you should bring something to drink or eat.
Next up: Porto Christo
A village with a nice port and lots of restaurants overseeing the port. This view is very relaxing and a nice place to go for a few hours. All these places are in some ways very simular. Little places, with a few good restaurants and some of them with their own port. And again, there is a little beach where you can swim.

Palma De Mallorca
The capital! If you like A LOT of tourists, shops and touristic restaurants, this is the place to be. A little to crowded for us. But still a place where you should go and see the cathedral. A little bit of culture is always great. In Palma De Mallorca, there is also a port, which, as you know, we love. It is the biggest port of the island. But unfortunately it isn’t a public one.
To some up: We really loved Mallorca. A very great island with a lot of magical places. We liked Portals Nous to stay because it isn’t crowded and still centered. We love the restaurants in portals Nous, a lot more than the restaurants in Palma De Mallorca.
